Spotify generates AI-powered voice translations
For this project , Spotify has enlisted the help of podcasters Dax Shepard, Monica Padman, Lex Fridman, Bill Simmons, and Steven Bartlett . With these content creators, Spotify is generating AI-powered voice translations in additional languages , including Spanish, French, and German , for a select number of episodes in the catalog and future episode releases.
In addition, other programs will be added to these, such as "eff won with DRS by Dax Shepard" , "The Rewatchables" and Trevor Noah 's new original podcast , which will be launched later this year 2023.
These episodes will be available worldwide for both Premium and free users. The company will launch an initial package of episodes translated into Spanish , and in the coming days and weeks into French and German.
