New LinkedIn tools to enrich your content

Post by sakib30 »

LinkedIn has introduced several improvements to help users enrich their content. Features of these new LinkedIn tools include:

The option to add subtitles to videos posted from the desktop.
The ability to highlight and share quotes from LinkedIn articles.
Save draft posts to edit and complete later on mobile.
LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 546 million users in over 200 countries. The company rarely reveals its number of monthly active users. But it is known that it has grown by over 60 sweden number screening million members since the third quarter of 2016. This seems to be a clear reason why the company is working to introduce new LinkedIn tools constantly in recent years.

Get to know the new LinkedIn tools
Over the past few years, LinkedIn has been adding features to its platform at a rapid pace. Most of them are designed to help you do your job better and enrich your content. These new features can improve your accessibility, visibility, and interactivity.

Sharing ideas, asking for advice, or showing off what you do are just a few of the ways to start conversations on LinkedIn. Having these kinds of conversations with your professional community is one of the best ways to give and get help, make new connections, and strengthen existing ones. Here are some of the new LinkedIn features:

1.- Possibility of adding video subtitles to give more context
LinkedIn, like other social networks, is also betting on video. First, they started by allowing you to add video to the Summary and Experience sections of your profile. This allows you to show who you are in a more complete way. Later, they allowed you to add live videos to your feed. The latest phase in this evolution of video is the opportunity to edit your videos by adding subtitles.

Sometimes you can't watch a video with sound but you want to watch it anyway. You now have the option to add subtitles to your videos when posting from your computer. This gives you a better viewing experience when the sound is off. And it also makes videos accessible to everyone . As Linkedin explains, to add subtitles you must :

Select the video you want to share by clicking the video icon in the LinkedIn desktop sharing box.
Once the video preview appears, click Edit in the top right corner under the X to view the video settings.
Click Select File to attach a file and press Save.
Add any additional text or hashtags and click Publish. Once the processed video is uploaded and ready to watch, you'll receive a notification. Subtitles will be accessible at that time.
