Projects like Raja Ampat Biodiversity push us to continue working every day with enthusiasm and desire. Product, responsibility and care are factors that make tourism great and contribute to making a better world possible.
When Patricia and Reinaldo from Raja Ampat contacted us we couldn't believe it. A resort project in Indonesia with so many positive features linked to our philosophy was hard to believe, and lo and behold, they contacted us and we started working with them.
At that moment I remembered a TED laos email list talk that I am very fond of, and I admit that my students “suffer” from it at Vatel Madrid , but I am happy that they see it and know about it. A talk that unifies tourism and tolerance from the life experience of Aziz Abu Sarah . Here I leave it for you when you have a gap:
After this brief review of tourism and how it can positively change the world, I would like to break down our work with Raja Ampat Biodiversity and what we are developing and learning about accommodation with very specific characteristics. ( We also learn from our clients, we never stop doing it, it is our philosophy) .
From day one with Raja Ampat we have tried to be their marketing and sales tool. Having a team of 3 people specialised in tourism , like the one we put at the service of Raja Ampat, is not usually easy. Finding a team that is committed to a project , that answers emails quickly, that doesn't take long to make a Skype call or that doesn't get involved in daily operations is usually not an especially easy task... although I'm sure you know more about that.
Our main tasks with Raja Ampat, although they are constantly evolving due to needs or adaptation to the project, are:
Advice, execution and review of your commercial policy , both from the integration of the new reservation system and the different actions on the distribution of your hybrid model of accommodation and tourist experiences.
