Agustín Fernández is one of our first students to successfully complete the Global Master in Digital Management , our most comprehensive high-performance training program. From a young age, it was clear that he had an entrepreneurial spirit and was very clear about how to set goals and achieve them . Now he coordinates the global Social Media department of an international hotel chain with more than 500 social media profiles . He tells us his story in the following interview.

You started your career working as a DJ for Los 40 principales and Máxima FM, as well as playing at major events in Ibiza. What has your relationship with the music world been like so far?
I started to get interested in the world of music very early on, when I was just 13 y benefits of using bulgaria phone number list ears old, and from that moment on I took it as a personal challenge , as my first project. At that time I combined my secondary school studies with studies in music production, piano, participation in radio and other events. A few years later I was lucky enough to work with big companies in the industry such as Grupo PRISA , and to be a guest DJ in some of the renowned clubs, such as BCM Planet Dance, Pachá or as you say, in Bora Bora Ibiza.

As I was saying, I consider this to be my first project with a clear relationship with marketing, since I was always clear about the importance of creating a representative and differentiating personal brand , especially in this “artistic field”.

I don't have a close relationship with the world of music at the moment, although it is undoubtedly something that is present in my daily life, especially with the importance it has in today's digital content.

At the same time, you decided to start studying with us our most comprehensive program, the Global Master in Digital Management . What led you to study this Master?
After several years studying marketing and communication, I felt it was time to go deeper , because, although I had a solid foundation on the subject, I missed learning about real processes and tools that we use so much in our daily lives, such as Google Analytics.

The curriculum is fully updated to meet today's needs, with a strong emphasis on the use of advanced digital tools, which I consider essential today.

The flexibility that this program gave me to continue working and the good references obtained from the center made me decide on this program.

What branches of digital marketing have interested you the most and why?
Undoubtedly the Social Media branch , because I believe that social media is generating a cultural change in all of us , since it has not only changed the way in which we relate and communicate, but also the way in which we are influenced before making a purchase, the way in which we are informed about the current events in our country, or the way in which we entertain ourselves. Personally, I am fascinated by everything that this channel is influencing us in our daily lives and in so few years, but even more so by the potential that I believe is yet to come.
