Part 2: KOMA Modular

The second part is dedicated to a pioneer in modular construction. We visited the KOMA Modular company, which has been manufacturing its modular systems in Vizovice for almost 30 years. Cutting-edge technology, futuristic design and long-term vision. These are the elements that best describe the KOMA Modular company. Its founder Stanislav Martinec is a visionary and strategist. The proof is the implementation of the Czech pavilion at EXPO 2015, which won a bronze medal for architecture in Milan. Last year, KOMA built the first modular hospital in the Czech Republic. Dozens of administrative buildings, shops, hotels, kindergartens and schools from KOMA can be found not only in our country, but also throughout Europe.

Part 3: Benlemi
We filmed the third episode at the family business japan telemarketing Benlemi , where brothers Michal and Petr Pomp work together to find ways to bring joy to families by making playful furniture from natural materials. In 2015, Michal Pomp introduced the world to a hand-woven hanging chair made of willow wicker. The chair, which is still popular today, was the first product of the Benlemi company. A year later, the first house bed made of solid wood was created. Today, the Benlemi family consists of more than 50 members who supply furniture and equipment for children's rooms throughout Europe.

The story of the family company Aldit began in Lučany nad Nisou in 1997 , which is based on tradition and unique glass processing technology and has a significant position abroad. Timeless interior elements and lighting from this Czech manufacturer can be found all over the world. The brand's success is primarily due to innovative design and modern technology.

Part 5: Vesper
The fifth installment of the Czech Manufacturers series is dedicated to the company Vespera from the South Moravian town of Rousínov. Another Czech manufacturer, which we visited as part of a project mapping the Czech scene of design manufacturers, specializes in the development and production of upholstered furniture. The history of the company, which continues the pre-revolutionary tradition of the famous Rousínov factories, dates back to the early 1990s.
