The Spanish Tax Agency has approved the Captio expense management platform as the first to offer certified digitalisation of receipts.
The use of tickets as proof of expenses incurred by sales agents – or any worker who travels – during the course of their work is common in the expense reimbursement processes dentist data of many companies. Through mobile technology, Captio digitizes tickets and automates the process of creating, claiming and monitoring expense reports.
Approval by the Tax Agency allows Captio to consider the tickets digitalized as documents with the same legal validity and tax effects as the original documents. In this way, the expense management platform takes its commitment to eliminating paper one step further , allowing companies to do away with original expense receipts for all purposes.
This closes the cycle that allows the entire process of managing company expenses to be considered digital, from reporting to accounting. Paper exists until the cashier hands the expense receipt to the employee who incurred it. Once captured with the smartphone, it is no longer necessary. The reporting, checking, validation of expense notes and their subsequent accounting are integrated into a digital environment. With certification, images stored in the cloud replace the original documents in the event of any type of audit.

Captio's commitment revolutionises the management of company expenses, a process that is still today a refuge for inefficient and paper-based flows.
