Data, a strategic issue

Post by seobd65 »

While 50 % of decision-makers in large companies in France declare their organization to be engaged in a data approach [7] , only 7 % of VSEs, SMEs, ETIs [8] have integrated data into their thinking and structured the data culture internally.

Complex, difficult to grasp, more often considered as a technological than strategic issue by decision-makers, data struggles to integrate Comex. However, it disrupts the company at the technological, organizational and cultural levels. It requires rethinking the way the organization is managed and requires transformations that only managers can decide and drive.

Creating a data culture
What some call the data revolution is generating whatsapp number list changes that require acculturating all staff. But how can we create a data culture when, worldwide, 46% of employees doubt the quality, reliability and security of data [9] . Companies will have to reassure, convince and, above all, train in data.

Training to exploit data
To make data a powerful tool for growth and innovation, companies must train their employees in data literacy. Train them to read, analyze and use data to make decisions and communicate. Of course, AI and machine learning allow them to process it, to "transform it so that it learns, cleans itself and extracts additional data as customers and market conditions change."

But you still need to know how to use them. However, only 11% of employees surveyed worldwide say they are competent in data literacy , compared to 7% in France.
