How does a player like Informatica, which has been operating for almost a quarter of a century, see the data revolution and, better still, how does it contribute to driving this movement?

MLT: It is true that Informatica has been present on the market for 25 years. This longevity is explained above all by our ability to support companies with each technological leap they face. In the 90s, we positioned ourselves very early on in Business Apps. In 2010, we changed our mantra and refocused on data management, which we saw as an asset that would determine the success of the digital transformation of companies. For about eight years, we have established ourselves as a telegram number list natural partner for everything related to data, from collection to extraction, cleaning, processing or security, both on-premises and in the Cloud. We also believe a lot in the hybrid mode around which we structure our offers. In short, our current positioning is not a marketing stance. It is the continuation of a path on which we have committed ourselves for a long time. Our catalog, our technologies, are the fruit of our evolution, of know-how acquired gradually. That’s what makes it so valuable!


You have chosen to be more visible than usual at the Big Data Paris 2018 trade fair. For what reasons?

MLT: This choice is first linked to the general increase in maturity of companies in relation to data. Everyone today fully appreciates the essential nature of data. In this context, it seemed important to us to come not only to share our vision of the issue, but also to demonstrate that data is no longer a matter for specialists. The solutions that we design are accessible to everyone in a company and not just to expert users! The simpler the exploitation of data, the more it will play its role as a catalyst for digital transformation. We are coming to Big Data Paris 2018 with the ambition of demonstrating our specificities, our offers, all while relying on feedback that we think is inspiring. L'Oréal, Bics and BNP Paribas have agreed to come and testify about their uses and the way they work with Informatica and we are very proud of it. Finally, we took stock of the 2017 edition of Big Data Paris and we really felt the appetite of companies for the event. We have therefore done everything possible to have significant resources to help animate this new edition of Big Data Paris.
