How do I decide what area to specialize in?
To choose our branch of specialization we must interrelate 3 malta phone number data variables that are, in order of importance, the following: what the market demands, what I like to do and what I am good at.
1- What the market demands. The labour market is alive and its needs vary over time. For example, 10 years ago the community manager was a residual figure and now it has become a booming professional. Therefore, before deciding on our specialisation we must prospect our sector: find out what profiles are in demand and which one I think would best fit.

2- What I like to do. The proverb says “choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” This second aspect is essential when deciding on a specialization: we will study with more enthusiasm and optimize our performance.
3- What I'm good at. This aspect is usually closely related to the previous one. If we identify a profile that the market is demanding, that we like and that we are also good at, we will have closed the virtuous circle that we need to get our first job.
It is important that we begin to specialize from the very beginning of our university studies: choosing the subjects that best fit our specialization, contacting professors, acquaintances and other people who can advise us, taking some extra-university course or training and, above all, researching, reading and documenting ourselves, to stay up to date with all the latest developments in the chosen specialization.
This way, when our first practical experience arrives, we will demonstrate above-average knowledge that will make an excellent impression on the company.
