Too bad that database was wrong and we realized it too late

The truth is that there are so many variables that are difficult to control that could ruin your efforts. How do you protect yourself from those? There must be a right way, right? Well, there is, even if it is not really an objective method of protection, but rather a subjective method of reaction. In short, you must have a plan for how to behave in the event of a disaster. You have lost your data on one or more devices, or maybe on all of them. What do you do? How do you react? Is there a way to recover while minimizing the damage? Run simulations, find your ideal path and make it a company procedure to follow in the event of a crisis.
Now, just to give you an idea, here's an example of an error due to an unexpected variable...
We once had to import a new contact database into our C Level Executive List email automation tool , Active Campaign ..
The result? We now had compromised lists, tags, and fields, which had disastrous effects on our evergreen automations.
The last straw was that ActiveCampaign did not have a backup system accessible to users .
It still is, but we only discovered this after the damage was done.
In that case, our disaster recovery strategy was to contact the Active Powered team , the Italian ActiveCampaign reseller we have been relying on for years now.
