Google is betting on artificial intelligence to compete against ChatGPT and Bing . A new report revealed by The New York Times claims that the company is working on AI tools under the code name Magi.

Google’s upcoming tools will only be available in the United States and will initially be launched to a maximum audience of one million users . While it’s not confirmed what these tools will offer, they will likely be based on the conversational capabilities of Google’s experimental chatbot, Bard . Development of these tools is being conducted under the codename “ Magi .”

Recently, the beta version of Bard , Google's artificial intelligence chat , iran number screening has been launched , coinciding with the launch of ChatGPT-4 in March 2023 .

Users who have had the opportunity to test both Google’s AI tool Bard and ChatGPT-4 say that Bard works well, but it doesn’t outperform ChatGPT-4. In addition, OpenAI has announced plans to release its ChatGPT-5 later this year, a tool that will be able to generate human-like features.

There is a lot of competition in artificial intelligence today , and Microsoft's Bing and OpenAI's ChatGPT pose a threat to Google, as they claim they can replace traditional search engines.

Google's position as the market leader in search engines could be in jeopardy as Samsung is considering replacing Google with Bing as the default search engine on its mobile devices, The New York Times reports .

This deal currently generates an estimated $3 billion in annual revenue for Google (the company has a similar deal with Apple that generates roughly $20 billion in revenue), but it's unclear how serious Samsung is about making the switch, according to The Verge .
