The Meta World Congress celebrated its first edition with a resounding success. The technological event, held between March 31 and April 1, 2023 at La Nave in Madrid, focused on the metaverse, the 3.0 network, virtual reality and augmented reality, technologies that promise to mark profound changes in the near future.
This event, which could be attended both physically and virtually, had a capacity of 5,000 people, who enjoyed various exhibition areas, expert presentations and different immersive activities related to the sector. The Meta World Congress celebrates its first edition at La Nave in Madrid
The professional Davo Ruíz , CEO of the Oneway Group and co-director of Meta World Congress, took the opportunity to thank the Madrid City Council and its Councillor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Ángel Niño, and the national president of young entrepreneurs, Fermín Albaladejo , for their support and attendance at this meeting of the technological world. Ruíz also highlighted three objectives of the event on which it is based: "Innovation and development, visibility and reputation and networking to generate business around it."

In the various exhibition and immersive activity areas, there was the participation of brands such as Outer Ring, which is listed as the best blockchain metaverse video game from Nexxyo Labs, Crypto Plaza, the largest Crypto, DeFi and Blockchain community in southern Europe, Belobaba, one of the most important banks in Web3 or Bitlab, the largest educational center in Web3 and more. In addition, the Meta World Congress featured the exhibition of the EH216 megadrone of the National Police , an autonomous aerial vehicle intended for the transport of people and cargo.
Mr. Casimiro Nevado , who is Chief Inspector of the National Police, also participated in the round table "Cybersecurity in new technological environments", where he highlighted the various challenges that arise in terms of security in the face of new technological and digital environments.
