Today we speak with Roberta Weber, a student of the Master in Traffic Management & Lead Generation, who tells us why she chose to study at IM and how she is successfully applying the knowledge she has acquired in the Master in her businesses.
It's a pleasure to talk to you about your experience with IM while taking the Master's in Traffic Management & Lead Generation. What have you learned? How has your overall experience with IM been since you started your Master's?
Going back to school was something I had been thinking about for a long time. And since I have a background in Communications and I was working in London, I felt it was time to do something in the Marketing area and use what I had learned for my businesses and my projects.
I started looking for a Digital Marketing course and the IM course seemed bahrain consumer mobile number list really good because it also had the option of doing face-to-face classes, and we already know that, at the moment, it is a bit difficult to find that. I wanted to connect with people, meet people, and it seemed like a good opportunity.
Also, I saw the reviews and the quality of the school and I said: I think this is perfect. I can go, connect with people and learn new things. It was just an amazing experience.
I started meeting people, and the teachers were always very open to helping me with my questions. I always had the encouragement of social media, feedback from the teachers, etc. I felt loved, like family, while I was developing and learning. I didn't find it an easy course; I found it challenging, a challenge, which is great too. I love challenges. I changed countries five times, so it was very nice, very rewarding.
Would you recommend your Master's degree?
Yes, yes, a lot. I learned a lot. I did the training in Traffic Management and Lead Generation . We know the importance of marketing today and attracting traffic for your project. It was just what I needed to give my business a boost. It was time to attract people, to generate branding, to make the brand known. And for that, there is nothing better than this Master.
We interviewed you on Women Entrepreneurs' Day. We know that you have several projects underway. Tell us about them and how you have applied the knowledge from the Master's to help boost them.
I think I've always been an entrepreneur. I remember when I was 10 years old and we sold cakes, popcorn and juice on the beach to earn money to buy materials to make necklaces. In my life, I've always created different things and found ways to start my own business. I think I grew up with that. My dad was in marketing and my mom was in theater, so I always had that creative streak.
I left Brazil in 2010. I went to Italy and then moved to Madrid. There, in Madrid, I tried to start my own business as well. I worked at Häagen-Dazs and opened a photography studio with some friends who were photographers. Afterwards, I created a communication plan for a pizzeria.
