The commute to work took a long time

Olga spent two to three hours a day on buses in the company of Harry Potter audiobooks. "In these traffic jams, I finally felt and loved the English language. It gave me freedom that money cannot buy, and changed my life for the better."
The job didn't pay well, but it gave Olga something else - a working website. After her boss stopped working with the developer, she got this site to support. Having studied and disassembled it piece by piece, she understood how it worked, and that was enough to start writing simple sites from scratch.
Olga's introduction to JavaScript wasn't easy: "My first JavaScript calculator almost drove me crazy, but I got through it."
Soon she started getting small assignments from special lead friends and family, mostly solving urgent problems, and began to familiarize herself with popular content management systems. One of the first CMS she got acquainted with was WordPress. The problem turned out to be a modified theme with no support. It took a whole weekend to solve, but she was determined to figure it out and did it. At that time, WordPress was “just a system” for her, and she did not yet know that it would take a prominent place in her life.
Olga spent the next two years in administrative work, already realizing that she had been sitting around for too long and was not getting satisfaction. The last straw was a negative statement from her boss, who was not a programmer and believed that everything on the site just happened by itself. She considered this unfair, since she had done a significant amount of work: "I got angry, and that was what was needed to start moving.
