Maybe you are unhappy with your job and have thought about starting your france email list own business. Then you did some research and heard that it was possible to make a living from an online business.

Or someone told you that there were digital entrepreneurs who lived and worked all over the world.

So he began to ask himself:

Is it really true?

Is it really possible for me to live off my own business?

Can I quit my job and stop putting up with my boss once and for all?

The truth is that it seems too beautiful and we start to doubt it. But if it is true, we would like to know how it is done.

I will answer these 2 questions in this article.

I also doubted
I had exactly the same doubts in 2017 when I first heard two digital nomads talking on a Podcast (audio program).

I was skeptical! But I decided to go further and see if it was true. So I kept listening to that Podcast and started listening to many more.

At first I started to think that those businesses were only possible for very special people, like entrepreneurs who were born rich or people with a big company who no longer needed to work.

But the truth is that in the last 2 years I have listened to hundreds of interviews with digital entrepreneurs and strangely I noticed that they are not so different from me. We have the same level of education, the same age, the same background and the same economic level.

It looked too beautiful
Even so, it seemed too beautiful to me, such was the way that life made me dream…

Have you ever imagined living and working anywhere in the world? How cool, right?

To be 100% sure of the veracity of those stories, I created my own Podcast and interviewed Portuguese digital entrepreneurs .

They question everything they told us
When I discovered the world of digital entrepreneurship, it was a shock that completely confused me.

We wonder, but then why on earth do my parents, family and teachers encourage me so much to study, find a stable job and climb the social ladder if people like me set up their own businesses and travel all over the planet?

When I realized it was really true, I changed my life.
Shortly after discovering the famous Podcast I did the following:

1 – I bought a course from one of those digital entrepreneurs ,

2 – I set up my own business in my free time,

3 – A year after I started I left my job,

4 – I went to live in Paris (because that’s where the most interesting entrepreneurs I know live),

5 – I started to live off my business.

Of course, I took the opportunity to fulfill this dream of living and working anywhere in the world.

Dispel a myth
Of course, this type of photos makes anyone dream, but in reality, to have a life full of travel, we have to pay for it somehow.

Those who work for themselves work much more than those who work for someone else.

When you work for yourself it is much more motivating because you know you are working to earn your freedom.

Before I quit my job and focused 100% on my business, I worked on my project every night after my 8 hours of daily work at my job (weekends, holidays and vacations included).

I did it because I know it is a short-term effort that will give me a beautiful life in the long run.

How to make money online
Your goal is to know how to move from your current situation to the moment where you can live completely independently and freely thanks to your income from the internet.

This is where most people fail.

Because if you search for “how to make money” on Google you will find this:



Top 5 worst ways to make money online:

1 – “How to make free money”

2 – “How to make easy money”

3 – “How to make money playing games”

4 – “How to make money by clicking”

5 – “How to make money by clicking on ads”

Seriously: “How to make free money” ???

Of course, these suggestions from Google don't make sense, but they are representative of what people search for. Even if we forget about these ridiculous searches and consult good content, the problem is that we will find contradictory advice.

On the one hand, they say that we should be present on all social networks, do dropshipping, sell in e-commerce , be an influencer on Instagram, create a YouTube channel and create a blog .

The problem is not finding information, the problem is knowing what will work for us.

To find a business idea that offers value, I recommend you do this exercise . It's completely free and takes less than 10 minutes.

How to convince someone to give you their money
Ask yourself this question seriously.

Let's forget about this fad of influencers, dropshipping and YouTubers and get back to the basics.

In order for you to make a living from your business, there has to be someone on the other side of the computer who will buy your product. The question is, how are you going to convince that person to give you their money?

The answer is: by offering you value.

But how do you offer value?

Sow first, reap later
According to Zig Ziglar : “You will get anything you want in life if you help others get what they want . ”

True digital entrepreneurs follow Zig Ziglar 's advice and ask themselves:

1 – “How to truly help people and solve a problem”

2 – “How to help people get what they want”

3 – “How to create a product that my audience wants to buy”

If you really want to quit your job and become a digital entrepreneur you will need to know 3 things:

1 – What value do I offer?

2 – How do I persuade my target audience to buy?

3 – How many people can I tell about my product?

Imagine, if you can sell a digital product for €100 to 20 people per month, you will earn €2000 per month.

If you can sell a digital product for €100 to 100 people per month, you will earn €10,000 per month.

Will you be able to convince 20 people out of the millions of Portuguese-speaking internet users who use the internet every day to buy one of your products every month?

If your product offers a lot of value to these people, I believe so!

How to offer value
Most people who come to me come with ideas like:

“I want to help people get more followers on Instagram”

“I want to help people set up a business”

“I want to help people invest in real estate”

The problem is that these people don't know who to sell to.

If you don't know who you're talking to, how will you know what they need?

It is essential to know who you are communicating to. And if you communicate to the right people, you will receive messages like this, just like I did:
