A museum opened in Madrid (Spain) at the beginning of May aims to change the negative image of plastic and to inform people about the possibilities that its use offers.
Plastic can be a great ally for many band phone number data sectors, however, the use and pollution it causes when disposed of incorrectly has overshadowed the benefits of this material.

With this idea of redefining the concept of plastic, a museum was recently opened in Madrid (Spain) that aims to "show the role that plastic plays in our lives," notes the news portal Plataforma y Arquitectura .

In addition to the pieces on display inside the museum, the space housing the exhibition itself is built with this material.

"This museum highlights the importance of using plastic and its contribution to protecting the environment at all stages: eco-design, use, reuse and recycling," says Alicia Martín, spokesperson for EsPlásticos, a platform that brings together the different agents that make up the plastics sector in Spain.

Objects made of plastic are essential in construction, food and healthcare. In relation to the latter sector, this material is present in the packaging of medicines, oxygen masks and syringes, among other objects.

The museum's aim is to raise awareness in society about responsible use. "In order for waste to be recycled and used, it is important that we all learn to separate it properly and not abandon it in the environment. The industry collaborates by eco-designing, recycling and using recycled and renewable materials," the project's website warns .

On the occasion of World Recycling Day on May 17, the structure installed in the Spanish capital was dismantled in order to recycle and reuse all the material. The exhibition remains available online.

FUNIBER sponsors a wide variety of university programs focused on offering professionals complete and up-to-date information on the most sustainable materials that can be used in construction. One of the courses offered is the Master's Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning Projects .
