From now on, you can include a QR code on your invoices created in Teamleader Focus. The code contains all the payment information indicated on the invoice. Your customers can easily scan these codes with their Mobile Banking app and make the payment.

…Less problems
Since invoice information is automatically filled in, it also reduces the margin for error when making payments. Your customers will no longer need to type in all your bank account numbers. And since the transaction reference is also copied, it will be easier for you to match incoming payments on your statements.

Although the legal basis for QR payment codes is based on a 2012 European Payments Council standard, this technology has currently only been adopted in a few states: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Finland and the Netherlands. So the possibility of scanning the code will depend on your customer's bank.

Add a QR code to your invoices
Adding a QR code to your Teamleader Focus invoices is easy. To do so, we have created two new shortcodes that you can include in your invoice templates:

$SEPA_QR_CODE$ – this will just add the QR code to your invoice
$SEPA_QR_CODE_WITH_INSTRUCTIONS$ – This will add the QR code to your invoice, including a brief explanation of which banks do or do not support QR payments.
