Indexing a site in Google requires patience, as search engines are quite slow. This process takes several weeks, so do not delay adding the resource to the search engine. Even if the pages of your site have not yet appeared records, it can already be added to the Google search engine.

First, you need to create your Google vnpay phone number data account (if you have a Gmail, you can consider that the account is already registered) and through it get access to all the tools of this system.
Steps to register a website with Google:
You need to go to the "Webmaster Tools" section and select "Add a resource". Then you need to enter the address of your resource and click "Continue".
After you are redirected to the next page, you should confirm your rights to the site. This can be done in several ways, but the easiest is using an HTML file. In this case, according to paragraph 1 of the Google instructions, you need to upload such a file to the "root" of the site. If the operation is performed without errors, then by clicking on the link, which is in paragraph 3 of the instructions, you will be able to see the content of the resource. If an inaccuracy was made, you will go to page 404. If everything is fine, then you need to select the "Confirm" item.
To add a site to the Google search engine and speed up its indexing, you need to tell the search engine bots the location of the XML sitemap. You can do this in the site control panel, located in the webmaster tools. Here you should click the "Scan" button and select the "Sitemap files" sub-item. After that, follow the "Add/check Sitemap file" link and enter the address to the map in the line (for example, "ru/sitemap.xml"). It should be noted that the domain name will already be written in this line, so you need to enter the address without it ("sitemap.xml"). Then you need to click the "Submit Sitemap file" button. You can pre-check this file for errors by clicking the "Check Sitemap" button.
If all the steps described above are performed correctly, the resource will already be added to the search engine. The site is indexed in Google for free, but this process takes from 7 days to 3 weeks.
How to check website indexing in Google
Use search operators (special characters added to queries).
Search symbols provide refinement of search results. For example, the operator "site:" allows you to obtain data on the approximate number of site pages indexed by Google. To perform such a check, you should enter the following combination in the search bar: "site:[url of your site]". In some cases, a significant discrepancy between Google and Yandex search results may indicate existing problems with the site. Using additional search tools, you can obtain information on the indexation of site pages for the required period of time.
Use plugins and JavaScript programs saved as browser bookmarks (bookmarklets).
With the help of such tools, you can perform indexing checks automatically. You don't have to open a separate search engine and enter queries in the search bar.
Install special services that check indexing.
Such tools make the work of SEO specialists much easier. There are quite a lot of such services, for example, the combination of Netpeak Spider and Netpeak Checker.

The first tool performs scanning. In this case, you can get not only information about the number of pages indexed by Google, but also other useful information: canonical, response code, title, headers, meta descriptions, meta robots, robots.txt, transitions, links, etc. In addition, Netpeak Spider notifies you about errors in such data.
