We are in an era in which every publication and advertisement requires being quantified and measured to know exactly its return on investment (abbreviated as “ ROI ” or “ Return of Investment ” in marketing jargon).


Although it may seem that the big screen of return on investment corresponds to social networks or display ads, email marketing is surprisingly one of the media that generates the best results.

Numbers and conclusions about the ROI of email marketing
This is according to a recent study by the eConsultancy group via eMarketer.com . In itself, email alone generates similar dividends as any other type of digital strategy or advertising; specifically, it is email that generates a greater proportion of total revenue.

In this study, at least 23% of respondents revealed that email marketing drove at least 25.1% of their total revenue.

While another 42% of respondents gave it less of an attribution, and the remaining 36% took it off the map, it is very interesting - and important - to consider that almost a quarter of the revenue that can be generated by digital marketing comes from email marketing efforts (at least for this group of respondents).

It should be noted, of course, that we could not specifically define the standards of success or acceptance of the campaigns analyzed based on this, and this study on the ROI of email marketing and its data would simply be taken as an x-ray of user behavior towards the different existing marketing channels.
